The short-term objectives of the project are the following: - increase student motivation and reduce absenteeism in vocational training - improve the social, linguistic, technical and technological skills of our students - reinforce the cooperation of the center with other similar institutions in the field of vocational training - Develop an Improvement Plan related to methodological innovations that result in the improvement of the academic results of the students for their professional projection in vocational training.
The economic data of Mula and its surroundings reveal that, in most cases, our students come from families that are at risk of social exclusion, which is why they frequently fail in their studies and/or drop out altogether. Likewise, we detected a digital and technological gap in the students due to this economic situation, as well as an evident lack of linguistic skills in other languages and social skills to relate to their peers. Also, we detect absent practices that, inevitably, also lead to school failure. For these reasons, it is necessary to look for alternatives to reduce school dropout at all educational levels of the center and specifically for vocational training. In the same way, it is necessary to combat school failure and absenteeism, increase the motivation of our students and improve inclusive education of students in our center, especially those who are at risk of social exclusion. That is why it is necessary to incorporate and continue mobility programs for students and teachers that promote European values and a new alternative among our vocational training students.
