Internacionalization is a central concept in our school. In both, secondary studies and vocational training, we are strongly involved in establishing long-lasting links with counterpart schools abroad. The main objetive of these relationships in getting to know other ways of working and carrying out specific activities that can directly impact our students, and also our teaching and non-teaching staff. Another important objective is to prepare our educational community for internationalization. With this purpose we will carry out activities promoting the learning of languages, namely English and French, for both students and teachers. Our conversation auxiliaries (three English, one French) cooperate in this task with activities previous to the exchange in order to help anybody involved in a mobility who want to benefit from their help with speaking languages. Objetive 1: Reinforcing key competences clave and cross-curricular skills, specially language learning and digital skills. Objetive 2: Supporting the development of those specific work skills needed in the current and future labour markets. Objetive 3: Developing the skills to work out high quality mobility projects and develop our internacionalization strategy.
All the schools appearing in the project had previous experience at international projects and previous contacts with companies belonging to the same professional field of studies our students do (Electricity, Healthcare and Cooking and Catering. Our students have also been able to carry out their practice period in those companies agreed (work-based training in companies). The host schools cooperate by welcoming our students, helping them find accommodation and making their socio-cultural integration easier. We must also note that younger students belonging to basic level profesional training studies were accompanied by teachers during the development of their stays in the country. As far as students are concerned, our host partners agreed to faithfully meet the learning agreement and the quality compromise already signed, to teach students with dedication, conveying their enthusiasm for work, as already planned. A Job Shadowing mobility has also been devised to strengthen the agreements with Lycée professionnel du bâtiment Le Corbusier in order to foster future cooperation with this school, we have already a long existing relation with. Another Job Shadowing was used to get new partners in case they are needed in the future.
