Objectives

Through the project we wanted to improve the organisation of the carousel module. Already based on the feedback obtained from the first edition and the conclusions drawn later in a transnational meeting, we were clear about what we should change to improve it. However, to make these improvements, we needed KA1 funds to carry out a second edition. On the other hand, we had already experienced the benefit that this type of mobility supposes for the student; we wanted to continue offering students the possibility of acquiring learning results related to digitalization, internationalization and inclusion. Through the different modules these aspects were worked on and it was done in a way that, whether due to weather conditions, equipment, expert teaching or other causes, learning was enhanced. Finally, we wanted to continue offering opportunities to those student profiles with economic difficulties or learning difficulties, thus promoting inclusion within the selection process.

Background

The project was born from a KA2 called Module Carousel for sports VET education, whose objective was to create intensive 2-week blended modules according to the educational resources of each institution. The 4 partners were EQF4 vocational schools from Finland, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain. Finland designed a module of winter sports activities adapted for people with disabilities, while the Netherlands designed two modules: e-health (personal training and monitoring of athletes through new technologies) and e-sports as an e-athlete (e-sports management and training). Germany focused on occupational therapy because it was an important part of her resume and her connection to businesses in the area. And finally, CEES designed a soccer sports training module due to its contacts and connections with local and international companies. With this project we wanted to give continuity to the resources generated and continue offering these specific training according to the resources of each institution. For CEES, this project was his second KA122 carried out.
