Objectives

During the 20 years that we have been participating in European Projects, we have corroborated the importance that the development of these projects has for the educational community, participating organizations, target groups of that participation and the productive fabric. From various areas we sought to achieve: - Improve the professional, personal and social skills of the participants in the program. - Develop linguistic skills for participants. - Promote the employability and job insertion of students who carry out mobility. - Promote the development of the most disadvantaged students. - Cause changes in the concept of international openness for the entire educational community. - Allow the acquisition of skills by teachers to carry out the development of the project. - Expand relationships and collaboration ties with different public and private entities and international associations. - Promote knowledge of innovative job development methodologies and systems for the educational center. - Offer, to the productive fabric of the environment, professionals trained in various methodologies. - Allow to strengthen dissemination systems through various means.

Background

The European Union is constantly evolving. The demand for attitudes, skills and knowledge is changing; people must equip ourselves with a series of key competencies, including inclusion, quality, creativity and innovation, and cooperation. We must provide high-quality education and training to equip young people and participants of all ages with the qualifications and capabilities necessary for meaningful participation in a democratic society, cross-cultural understanding and to successfully manage transitions in the labor market. IES TOMÁS NAVARRO TOMÁS is committed to all this. It is a publicly owned center that teaches ESO, Baccalaureate and FP studies in face-to-face, distance and dual modalities. The IES has a history of 58 years of experience, with 800 students. In the field of FP, Intermediate and Higher Level Cycles of the professional family of Sociocultural and Community Services are taught, with 400 enrolled, of which 60 are intermediate level students, to whom the project is directed. They are training cycles in high demand by students in the region, being a reference center for the professional family.
