In the first place, it deals with innovating in the way of teaching, incorporating a favorable environment for the development of international projects. This enables students to acquire skills and competences relevant to the IT sector, preparing them better for a successful job placement. An effort is being made to incorporate the basic principles of Erasmus in our teachings in order to form citizens who are more open, tolerant and adapted to an increasingly interconnected world of work. Likewise, the digital transformation of education is promoted, which leads to a greater integration of digital technologies in the teaching and learning processes. This facilitates access to online educational resources, stimulates creativity and critical thinking, and promotes greater participation and collaboration between students and teachers. A third important benefit is the improvement of attention to diversity within the center. Inclusive strategies are identified and adopted to meet the needs of students with different abilities and learning difficulties.
The IES Padre Suárez, a Historical Institute of Secondary Education, seeks through this project to improve educational practice in its CFGM of Microcomputer Systems and Networks, through internationalization and digital transformation. Until now, no Erasmus+ project had been carried out in Vocational Training, so it has been tried to make this the beginning of other projects that will arrive in the next courses. The students, motivated by new technologies, show interest in participating in training activities abroad. At the center level, a SWOT analysis was carried out before starting the work, which showed needs such as giving an adequate educational response to the training needs of our students, under an internationalization dimension. Another notable need was to remain at the forefront of digital transformation, since our cycle deals precisely with this theme.
