The objectives we set ourselves were as follows; To obtain the collaboration of counterpart schools in the destination countries. To increase the number of sport students participating in mobilities. To monitor job placement and the rate of students moving on to higher education. Involve teaching and non-teaching staff in the different opportunities offered by the programme.
The studies we have within the scope of this project are the CFGM in Technical Guide in the natural environment and leisure time and different specialities of sports education that are taught according to student demand; currently Rescue and Lifesaving and hiking. We are a centre located in the city of Barcelona and the profiles and ages we work with are mainly young people who come directly from ESO, or who are leaving the baccalaureate. The average age of these classes is between 16 and 18 years old, although we may have older students who come after repeating a course or after some time without studying. Many of them have learning disorders and some have behavioural problems. Our project aims to continue offering our students the possibility of doing an internship in companies in EU countries so that they can develop personal and professional skills that will help them both now and in the future, this experience will have both a reflection on the student and their peers and therefore in the institution and families. This is the first time that we are carrying out staff mobilities in order to involve the whole educational community.
