The CIFP Politécnico de Murcia constantly seeks to improve the quality of education and increase opportunities for its students and staff. In this context, the implementation of the KA131 project covered aspects of internationalization, educational improvement, professional development, and promotion of European values. This meant not only sending students and staff to other countries, but also welcoming foreign students and teachers. The central idea was to create a more internationalized educational environment that enriched the experience of all participants, offering a global and diverse vision of the professional and academic environment, and establishing collaborations with other institutions and companies from various countries. Another objective was to improve the professional and linguistic skills of the participants that would allow them to apply the knowledge acquired in a real work environment, and acquire new skills and knowledge, which, together with the improvement of linguistic skills, would facilitate, not only their job placement in the international arena, but also its adaptation to different cultures and ways of working, promoting European values and strengthening citizen awareness.
