The project is a continuation of previous ones that have been developed at the IES Pío Baroja in other courses. We are a very active centre in the Erasmus Program and year after year we try to increase the number of mobilities and increase their quality. We are pleased to know that some students enrol with us because we are very participative in the Erasmus Program and we care for the quality of international internships. We are an educational centre located in Madrid, south of the city, specifically in the Usera district, one of the areas with the lowest per capita income in the capital. Each year we try to have the maximum possible participation based on the mobilities that have been granted to us. Bearing in mind that we comply with ECHE chart, our Erasmus program main goal is to give a life-time opportunity to students that would not be able to have it otherwise due to their socioeconomic status. Our staff also values the program very positively and we had more candidates than available places for the current project. Training and learning through observing are the main objectives for the staff that take part in this program.
