Enhancing the internationalization of the institution for both students and staff, while deepening collaboration with new and existing partner organizations. This will allow students and staff to improve their competencies and skills, promoting greater mental health and well-being in inclusive environments with participation for all. The goal is to foster a more inclusive culture, attuned to ecological and social challenges, and addressing them collectively. The Erasmus+ program supports VIU in promoting collaborations with other higher education institutions. Currently, VIU coordinates a strategic alliance with nine other European universities (Qn – European University for Quality, Quintuple Helix and Query-driven Educational Ecosystems). In this new phase of Erasmus+, interinstitutional agreements are being expanded to non-associated third countries in Europe, Latin America, and Africa. Thanks to the Erasmus+ program, VIU regularly receives students, professors, and training staff from other universities. This has made it common for the VIU community to share learning and work spaces, both physical and virtual, with people from diverse nationalities, enriching the educational experience.
