The objectives set with this project seek to respond in various areas of action. 1. On the one hand, the aim was to cover the needs of the students in aspects such as: supporting and favouring the development and learning of the skills necessary for the performance of their professional work (having fallen in this project in the field of fitness), as well as giving the possibility of getting to know new ways of working outside their habitat and within Europe, in this case in two European capitals such as Dublin and Lisbon. This experience was also of great value for the promotion and improvement of language skills, as well as for the promotion of social and cultural diversity within the European framework. Furthermore, the project was intended to be relevant from a social point of view, given that the experience lived by the participating students should serve to reinforce their self-esteem and provide them with resources to be able to cope in environments different from the one in which they usually move, something that will serve as a teaching tool for their future incorporation into the world of work, improving their professional prospects. 2. From the point of view of the school staff, the main objective considered was to be in contact with new trends and techniques applied in the world of work.Contact with the business sector should make it possible to adopt the most relevant techniques observed which, in turn, would make it possible to improve teaching practice in the classroom with higher education students, adopting new training processes in the world of fitness (in this specific case). On the other hand, the aim was to make contact with other companies and professionals in the area surrounding the centres visited in order to establish a network of companies and professionals with which to collaborate in the future. 3. With all of the above mentioned, in turn, the aim was to improve our centre and its image from the surrounding area, both from the point of view of methodology and in terms of its promotion and modernisation.
