By implementing this project, we hoped to take a first step towards the internationalisation of our educational community. We wanted to generate new links with other organisations and pave the way for the sustainability of the project by carrying out mobilities every year. As far as the students are concerned, we consider it a great success. The good reception of the project has led to the creation of an Erasmus team in the centre and the coordinator has been given a reduced teaching load to attend to new projects and mobilities. We are trying to establish a mentality of internationalisation and to get our educational community to identify us also by internationalisation. We think that Erasmus is becoming one of the hallmarks of our school and we see how the new students are demanding more and more information about these projects earlier and earlier. In terms of organisational links, we have contacted various organisations, not only with companies abroad (particularly Bulgaria) but also with local, regional and national organisations with different characteristics. We have established relationships with the other coordinators in Cantabria through the Technical Unit for Internationalisation of the Regional Ministry of Education of Cantabria. We have met other projects and their developers also at national level in the Erasmus+ Higher Education Mobility Conferences. Higher Education student and staff mobility projects financed with internal policy funds (KA131-HED). Additionally, we have established relations with the Chamber of Commerce of Cantabria and various collectivities supporting students abroad. We have received advice from the local European Information Points. We have received micro-training for coordinators and also about the Europass. In short, we believe that we have taken the right path to make our commitment to European projects and internationalisation a present and future reality.
