It has been 22 years now since Instituto Cuatrovientos decided to adopt new lines of work that involved the opening to the outside and mobility in Europe to improve the employability of its students and the improvement of professional and personal skills of both its students and our employees through International Projects. In the search for continuous improvement we adopt different models of quality management: EFQM, obtaining awards over the years, being currently awarded in Advanced Management. Convinced of learning from diversity and mobility, the Project is carried out taking into account two aspects:1- Theoretical: acquisition of linguistic, academic, professional and personal contents. 2- Practical: Professional internships in the host country, managed by tutors. The objectives are: - Improvement of the employability of the students, thanks to a quality learning through an innovative methodology and with a European dimension as the driving force of the Project, and the professional recycling of the workers through the activities they carry out to tutor these students, and that will revert in the center. -Improvement of key, academic and professional competences of students and teachers through their experience in Europe. - Promote the inclusion of people as well as environmental sustainability in their lives and daily actions. Phases: 1) The International Project Team meets weekly to outline the actions to be carried out and the objectives. They elaborate the Project Profile and lines of work. They agree with the partners on the objectives, activities, timing, tutoring, communication, documentation, monitoring and final evaluation and drawing up conclusions and areas for improvement. 2) Project Coordinators and Mobility Managers complete the Application Form. We convene informative meetings about the proposal to carry out the stays and the requirements. On the other hand, we meet with all the students of the first and second year of higher cycles of the center to inform them about the project and the selection criteria: - Knowledge of the language of the country where they want to do the internship, academic record, average grade of the 1st year and the 1st evaluation of the 2nd year, evaluation of the Key Competences: determinant for them to be participants of the program. Delivery of the application form to which they will attach the Europass CV, the letter of introduction, official language diplomas a posteriori. 3) Evaluative. Language tests, and evaluation of their Key Competences, interview with Management and Guidance. We identify the candidates and reserves and publish the results. 4) Project Acceptance. Applicants will sign the Participant Commitment with the center. 5) On this occasion we have not used the OLS tool as on other occasions because it is not available. 6) Internships. Weekly contact via mail, phone, Meet with the sending tutor. They will prepare the Weekly Reports, Final Evaluation and Training Agreement with the host partner. 7) Project Evaluation: Preparation of the Final Report and identification of Improvement Areas. Delivery of documentation. 8) Dissemination of the projects through our website, blog, Facebook, press releases, student lounge, fairs, open days, meetings with ex-Erasmus, meetings with employees and Strategic Reflection Day of the company held in March 2021. This Mobility project is a key piece to implement the Internationalization Strategy of our organization. As we state in our ECHE Charter, for Cuatrovientos it is essential to participate in European projects through alliances and synergies with companies and other organizations. By carrying out this project, we wanted to take a step towards the modernization and improvement of our educational system by looking for new experiences, methodologies and scenarios to offer to our participants. These opportunities have a direct effect on the employability of the students. The realization and accreditation of company internships for 13 weeks in a foreign country also contributes to the development of our Mission (the integral formation of people capable of inserting themselves in the socio-labor world through an educational model based on innovation, entrepreneurship, internationalization and commitment...) and to achieve the objectives of the Mobility Charter and ECHE Charter, in coherence with the strategic plans of our organization.
