Internationalization is one of the key pillars for the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. Likewise, one of the five core elements of the UIC 2015-22 Strategic Plan is the development and promotion of internationalization, including teaching, research, and the institution as a whole. With the new 2023-28 plan, these goals are reinforced. Many actions outlined in this area are carried out through the Erasmus+ program and other mobility programs, such as: Strengthening mobility programs and offering new international programs: consolidating the Erasmus+ program for studies and internships, and further improving dissemination across all degree programs. Selecting quality mobility programs in countries with greater employment opportunities. Gradually increasing the number of outgoing and incoming student exchanges and facilitating access to and information about these programs. Promoting the mobility of teaching and research staff and administrative and service staff through internationalization workshops. UIC Barcelona has communicated and encouraged participation in the Erasmus+ program for all the relevant groups and in all modalities, with promotional activities that are regaining momentum after the pandemic.
