The main goal pursued by the Institution is the internationalisation of its university community, directly by means of student and staff outgoing mobility, as well as indirectly by means of incoming mobility and internationalisation-at-home actions. Within this context, the policy strategy for internationalisation at the University of Lleida regards mobility of students, teaching staff and administrative staff, both incoming and outgoing, as one of the three most important goals of internationalisation in university teaching. In this project, the overall objective was to reinforce mobilities with universities in the Erasmus area thanks to the Erasmus grants funding. For most outgoing students, it is a major requirement to count on a grant to be able to carry out their stay abroad. On the other hand, Erasmus grants are a great incentive so that incoming students can choose the UdL as their host institution, and they are also a way to strengthen cooperation links with partner universities. According to the internationalisation strategies in every school/faculty, the institution also aimed at channelling cooperation links in the scope of teaching staff, so that these bonds could have an impact in university teaching which would benefit as many students as possible.
