Objectives

The objectives to be achieved through this Erasmus+ project were very clear and well-defined. These objectives are part of our internationalization plan and are as follows: - Opportunities to become familiar with new cultures and languages of EU member countries: For many of our students, their Erasmus mobility becomes their first experience abroad (and in many cases, even their first time traveling outside their local environment), allowing them to visit other countries and engage in a linguistic and cultural exchange. - Opportunities for employment mobility by completing training in workplaces and internships in companies across the European Union: Our students are required to complete a mandatory training period in workplaces, necessary for obtaining the degree they are pursuing. Having the opportunity to undertake this training period in workplaces abroad adds significant value when seeking employment or potential hiring opportunities. - Opportunities to learn new working methodologies and educational best practices within professional and educational institutions in the EU: For our teaching and non-teaching staff, the main objective of participating in Erasmus projects is the opportunity to learn about other methodologies or ways of "teaching," which are both necessary and valuable for gaining a fresh perspective and breaking the routine in classrooms. It also provides the chance to train alongside other professionals from foreign countries, expanding their knowledge to improve their teaching performance or simply observe different working methods. - Opportunities for personal growth and social skills for students with limited financial resources and at risk of social exclusion to experience other countries and step outside their environment: A large percentage of the students who travel abroad are from basic vocational training programs. For these students, who are at real risk of exclusion and early school dropout, as well as for any student with low self-esteem and limited social skills, this is a great opportunity to leave their environment and share this experience with their peers. The results are exceptional, leading to increased self-esteem and confidence, as well as improved social skills. Needless to say, for any participant, involvement in Erasmus+ projects represent significant personal growth.
