Con la implementación y ejecución de este proyecto Erasmus+, desde la Universitat de les Illes Balears (en adelante UIB), se ha querido dar continuidad a las actividades y acciones de movilidad del Programa Erasmus+, en tanto que constituyen uno de los pilares fundamentales de la política de internacionalización de nuestra institución, y en este sentido ha quedado recogido en el nuevo Plan Estratégico 2023-2027 aprobado en julio de 2023 por los diferentes órganos de gobierno de nuestra Universidad. Este proyecto nos ha brindado, un curso académico más, la posibilidad de que estudiantes, personal docente investigador y personal Técnico, de Gestión, y de Administración y Servicios hayan podido beneficiarse de una movilidad/intercambio financiado por el Programa. Los estudiantes han tenido la ocasión de cursar parte de sus estudios universitarios en una institución de educación superior de otro país con el que han podido enriquecer su currículum académico, adquirir nuevas competencias y destrezas al tiempo que vivir una experiencia personal única. Por su parte el personal docente e investigador, ha impartido hasta 8 horas de docencia en instituciones socias, así como intercambiado con sus homólogos técnicas docentes. En cuanto al personal técnico, las movilidades en el marco del programa Erasmus+ suponen una de las escasas vías de que disponen para poder conocer de primera mano como desarrollan su trabajo sus homólogos en otros países. La Universitat de les Illes Balears ha recibido en sus aulas, despachos y servicios a un número creciente de estudiantes y personal de sus instituciones socias; todos ellos han hecho que la Universitat sea una institución más internacionalizada. TRADUCCIÓN EN INGLÉS With the implementation and execution of this Erasmus+ project, the University of the Balearic Islands (hereinafter UIB) aimed to continue the mobility activities and actions of the Erasmus+ Programme, as they constitute one of the fundamental pillars of our institution’s internationalization policy. This objective is reflected in the new Strategic Plan 2023-2027, approved in July 2023 by the various governing bodies of our University. This project has given us, for another academic year, the opportunity for students, teaching and research staff, and technical, management, and administrative services personnel to benefit from mobility/exchange financed by the Programme. Students have had the chance to complete part of their university studies at a higher education institution in another country, enriching their academic curriculum, acquiring new skills, and experiencing a unique personal journey. Teaching and research staff, on the other hand, have delivered up to 8 hours of teaching at partner institutions and exchanged teaching techniques with their counterparts. As for the technical staff, mobility within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme is one of the few opportunities they have to learn firsthand how their counterparts in other countries carry out their work. The University of the Balearic Islands has welcomed a growing number of students and staff from its partner institutions in its classrooms, offices, and services; all of them have contributed to making the University a more internationalized institution.
