With the execution of this project, our institution aimed to achieve several objectives, which we list below: Acquisition of new professional and personal skills: We sought to enable vocational education students to develop new skills and knowledge related to their field of study through experiences in international environments. This includes learning new techniques, technologies, and/or methodologies that could enhance their professional performance. Improvement of student employability: Through the Erasmus+ programs, we aimed to facilitate access to the labor market, enhancing students’ résumés and increasing their employment opportunities. Development of language skills: Students had the opportunity to improve their proficiency in other languages, which is highly valued in today’s increasingly globalized job market. Cultural exchange: Erasmus stays promote cultural exchange through exposure to different cultures, allowing participants to gain a broader perspective and become more tolerant and open to diversity. Promotion of cooperation and international networks: Through mobility programs, we aimed to build alliances and collaborations with other educational institutions and companies. Autonomy and personal growth: Living in another country and adapting to a new environment fosters autonomy, problem-solving skills, and personal growth for participants, whether they are students or teachers. The objectives set for students could not be fulfilled, as no student mobilities took place. However, we were able to strengthen international relationships and expand the available internship destinations for our students.
