The Erasmus project, identified with code 2022-1-ES01-KA131-HED-000059814 and carried out by CIFP Manuel Antonio, had as its main objective to expand the international dimension of the institution by promoting mobility between students and higher education staff. Through this project, the aim was to create opportunities for the acquisition of international competencies, enhance cultural exchange, and strengthen academic collaboration networks with other European countries. CIFP Manuel Antonio, located in Vigo, has a teaching staff of more than 130 and an educational community of over 1,500 students. The center offers six professional fields, with educational programs ranging from Basic Vocational Training to Advanced Vocational Training, both in on-site and distance learning formats. With this Erasmus project, the goal was to facilitate mobility activities and ensure that participants could benefit from an enriching experience that complemented their academic and professional training. The project was designed to integrate these mobility experiences into the institution’s educational strategy, reinforcing its commitment to high-quality training and the continuous improvement of participants' linguistic, digital, and transversal skills. Additionally, CIFP Manuel Antonio’s participation in European programs has been well-established for years, having obtained its ECHE Charter in 2014 and renewed until 2027. This accumulated experience has enabled the institution to approach this project with a clear vision of the benefits it offers to the educational community in terms of professional development and international cooperation.
