Objectives

The execution of the project has made it possible to facilitate the international mobility of the degree students in International Business and Marketing. From a strictly academic point of view, international mobility allows you to study at another university outside the country taking courses/subjects different from those that can be taken at the institution of origin, learn about another university education system and improve a foreign language. At ESCI-UPF we consider that taking a period of teaching abroad allows not only to take different subjects, but also subjects with different approaches, methodologies and perspectives that expand the general and specific skills that students must acquire during the course of their studies. From a personal point of view, facilitating international mobility processes allows you to live in another society, acquire a mentality open to differences, get to know another country and make new friendships and contacts. That is, it facilitates the acquisition and development of "soft skills" necessary for coexistence in a multicultural society. In the case of staff mobility, it has made it possible to acquire new skills for teaching, learning about new approaches. The project has also made it possible to finance international internships in countries of the European Union where the participating students have been able to enter the labour market in an international context, with different cultural and work practices as well as a working language other than that of the country of origin. Finally, the implementation of staff mobility for training has allowed the development of new capacities and the acquisition of new tools that are very relevant for the performance of the work of the staff who have carried it out.
