The University of Burgos (UBU) is strongly committed to its international dimension and has made internationalisation a hallmark of its identity. The project sought to undertake a new phase in internationalisation, continuing to promote the UBU's mobility policy, both through the SMS, SMP, STA and STT actions, and by participating in the new actions: BIP and international mobility. The aim is for mobility to reach as many areas of the university as possible and for mobility to generate synergies that reinforce the internationalisation of the institution, participation in other types of projects, sharing experiences of teaching innovation and strengthening links with partners. International mobilities are an opportunity to give a new dimension to internationalisation. The action provides an opportunity for extra-European mobilities, a particularly interesting option for teaching staff, and also aims to strengthen cooperation with partners from third countries and involve them in the Erasmus project. The Blended Intensive Programas (BIPs) and short mobilities, are another action that the programme has incorporated that we consider very interesting as they allow a sector of students to participate in the programme who, due to various circumstances, do not participate in long-term mobility actions. In addition, they allow sharing experiences of teaching innovation. Coordinating a short combined BIP programme was another of the objectives of the institution when designing the project. In addition, the project allows to reinforce and give an international dimension to other strategic policies of the UBU, such as sustainability, digitisation or inclusion. Another of the institution's goals is to make a reasonable and commensurate request for funds that would allow for maximum optimisation of the use of available funds.
