The implementation of this project aimed to lead our center to increase a prestige that it already enjoys as a historic institute with a great educational heritage and a long history, contributing, together with the other Erasmus+ projects, to the internationalization of what is the oldest institute in Galicia (Northwest of Spain). In addition, this project planned to strengthen the qualification of students and teachers of technical analysis and essay teaching, contributing to the integration of students in the international workplace and teachers in a modern network of digitalised international teaching. The project aimed to contribute to achieving one of the internationalization objectives of our center: to strengthen interaction and cooperation with other European institutions. The aim was to do our bit for the overall strategy of making Europe one of the most competitive societies and economies in the world based on knowledge, cooperation, sustainable development and citizen well-being. On the other hand, students were given the opportunity to carry out internships and even research in more technologically developed countries, where they can learn about cutting-edge techniques and instruments in the field of chemical analysis, biotechnology and materials testing. These programmes have always given students the opportunity to develop professionally in the host countries. For this reason, this project had among its objectives to find a solution to the problem of lack of employment among young recent graduates. All this strengthens cooperation between EU member states, facilitating the mobility of workers and providing qualified technicians for companies that need them, trying to move towards a more sustainable development and more solidarity between countries and citizens of the European Union.
