Objectives

The IES Son Rullan project is designed to enrich the academic, professional, linguistic, and personal competencies of both students and teachers through the implementation of various mobilities and the preparatory work carried out at the educational center. - Improving student employability: The aim was for students to not only acquire technical skills related to their professional training but also personal and social competencies that would facilitate their entry into the job market, both locally and internationally. Moreover, the internships conducted at European companies are certified through the Europass Mobility document, along with other Europass tools such as the Europass CV and the Diploma Supplement. The Europass Mobility document formally certifies the work experience gained abroad, describing the activities and skills developed. The Europass CV provides a standardized format to clearly and thoroughly present academic qualifications and professional experience. Finally, the Diploma Supplement offers additional information on the content and level of the degree obtained. Together, these documents enable students to demonstrate their international competencies and experiences to potential employers more transparently and clearly, thus increasing their job opportunities. - Developing personal competencies: Facing challenges in a different work environment has allowed participants to develop greater autonomy and responsibility, as well as adaptability, flexibility, self-confidence, personal growth, and the ability to solve problems in unfamiliar contexts, all of which contribute to their personal development. - Improving linguistic competence: The use of platforms like OLS for language improvement and the immersion in foreign professional environments have strengthened participants' linguistic competencies. They have acquired the ability to communicate in a foreign language, which includes not only mastering technical vocabulary but also the capacity to interact in international social and work contexts. - Improving professional competence: For the participating teacher, exposure to new international methodologies provided an opportunity to update her pedagogical practices, resulting in more effective teaching. This enrichment has not only benefited the students but also the institution as a whole, significantly improving the quality of education. In the case of the student, the experience in a real work environment allowed him to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during his academic training. By facing concrete professional situations, he gained a better understanding of how his skills materialize in daily work, thereby strengthening his technical and operational capacity. Additionally, he gained access to work methods he had not previously experienced in his home country, allowing him to update and expand his technical competencies, further enhancing his specialization in his field of study. - Enhancing the quality of education and internationalization of the institution: The incorporation of innovative practices and international contacts has raised the quality of education and strengthened the institution's reputation. The project has consolidated ties with institutions and professionals from other countries, increasing the prestige of IES Son Rullan and opening new opportunities for collaboration. Moreover, the collaboration with companies has strengthened relationships with the business sector, creating future opportunities for students. The project has proven to be an effective tool for the professional, personal, and academic development of students and teachers, aligning with the internationalization strategy of IES Son Rullan and significantly improving its standing in the educational and professional area.
