The Erasmus+ programme is the main international exchange tool of the University of Oviedo. Its implementation aims to improve the training of both students and teaching and non-teaching staff. An improvement that goes beyond the acquisition of knowledge, facilitating the immersion of the beneficiaries in a multicultural and multilingual context, which helps to strengthen ties between the different countries of the European environment. At the same time, it aims to increase equality of opportunities among participants with fewer opportunities by promoting inclusion and diversity, and by making mechanisms and resources available to them. All of this is intended to contribute to greater tolerance and a greater sense of European unity both within the institution and in the surrounding social environment.
