The Salesian School "San Luis Rey" is an educational center located in Palma del Río (Córdoba, SPAIN). It has around 300 vocational training students divided into Vocational Education and Training, and Higher Education in various area such as Mechanics, Refrigeration Installations, Administration, Robotics, Electricity and Electronics. In these studies, students have a number of hours dedicated to internships in companies in the sector, whose main objective is the labor insertion of students. Due to the demand of the students and the teaching staff, and taking into account the success of the previous European projects (Comenius, language immersion trips, Erasmus+ mobilities, etc.), we want to continue these activities, offering them the help that the The Erasmus+ program offers us, to Higher Education students and staff for an internship or training period in companies. The European Commission granted us the renewal of the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education 2021/2027, which is set out in the school website. Goals: For students and staff: - Carry out a training-work experience to improve theoretical knowledge by carrying out internships of approximately 3 months in a country other than the one in which they are studying. - Achieve compliance with their Learning Results, Training-productive Activities and evaluation criteria to be able to pass the practical module “Training in Workplaces”. - Carry out an internship period after graduation to expand the training of our students. - Improve the educational and training quality of students in Higher Degree Cycles. - Promote job placement and professional skills of students. - Create awareness among our students and staff of cultural and social belonging within the group of countries of the European Union. - Improve the level of linguistic competence of teachers and students, mainly in English. - Promote the use of ICT, improving the quality of communications, using, among others, the tools created by the European Commission. - Promote environmentally friendly practices in all activities related to the program. For the institution: - Promote entrepreneurship, creativity, innovation and the use of different languages. - Continue with the internationalization and modernization process that is being carried out in our institution. - Increase agreements with companies and institutions, beyond mobility: preparatory visits, exchange of information, processes, machinery, experiences, etc. - Promote contacts with companies to adapt training at the center to their training needs and stay up to date on technological and industrial evolution and renewal. - Improve the quality and access to continuing vocational training and the acquisition of skills and competencies throughout life with a view to developing adaptability. - Promote and strengthen the contribution of vocational training in the innovation process, to improve competitiveness and entrepreneurship, and also provide new employment opportunities. - Promote European values on mobility, cultural exchange and cooperation between different countries.
