Objectives

The Art-CyL Consortium, for this project, is formed by the Art Schools and Colleges of Design of Burgos, Segovia, Soria and Zamora, and the Colleges of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage of Ávila, León, Palencia, Salamanca and Valladolid, as well as the Higher School of Dramatic Art (ESADCyL) and the Ministry of Education of the Regional Government of Castilla y León. The coordination of the Consortium is carried out by the Fundación Universidades y Enseñanzas Superiores de Castilla y León (FUESCyL), a non-profit organisation which has, among other aims, the contribution to the promotion and development of artistic, musical and performing arts education, as well as the organisation, development and management of actions for the internationalisation of the university system of higher education in the Community of Castilla y León. In compliance with the ECHE framework of each of the participating Centres, the main objective of the Consortium is to promote the European dimension of the educational centres that provide higher artistic education in Castilla y León, thus contributing to quality training and a high degree of qualification of the students and staff involved. Through the development of this project it has been achieved: - Implement new methodologies and pedagogical practices based on international experiences. - Incorporate global perspectives and best practices in the curriculum of the participating institutions. - Develop intercultural competences in both students and teaching and non-teaching staff, improving their ability to work in multicultural environments. - To improve participants' language skills, facilitating communication in international contexts. - Increased international mobility to non-partner countries. - Building collaborative networks by establishing and strengthening partnerships with higher education institutions in other countries to foster academic and administrative cooperation. - Provide professional development opportunities for academic staff and students through teaching and training experiences abroad. - Promote the personal development of participants through international experience, including independence and adaptation to new environments. - Enhance the international visibility and prestige of institutions through active participation in the Erasmus+ programme. - To advance the internationalisation strategy of the educational entities that are part of our Consortium, making it more attractive to international students and partners. - To bring benefits to the local community through the transfer of knowledge and skills acquired by participants in the Erasmus+ project. - Gradually incorporate digital tools and innovative technologies to improve the quality and accessibility of Erasmus+ activities. - Encourage the use of sustainable means of transport and minimise the environmental impact associated with travel. - Provide specific resources and support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds or with special needs, ensuring that mobility opportunities are accessible to all.
