Consortium ERASMUS+ CYL: The VET Mobility of higher education in Castilla y León was born as the need to extend employability prospects and to energize the system of VET mobilities of higher education in Castilla y Leon. It is composed of: - Education Ministry of the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León, through the General Directorate for Professional Training, which provides the Consortium with guidance, institutional support, and human and material resources. - Integrated Vocational Training Centre “Juan de Herrera”, as the Consortium coordinator, offers human and material means for the implementation of mobility projects in close collaboration with the General Directorate of Professional Training. - Almost 70 VET Providers, established in Castilla y León, as sending institutions offer Higher VET Diploma Programmes. - Other institutional organizations which provide added value and implement proceedings to reinforce and facilitate the objectives through integral and linguistic support (regional Official Languages Schools), international relations management through European Chambers of Commerce and business associations for search and selection of receiving institutions and similar VET centres (Regional Council of Official Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Castilla y León and Family Business Association in Castilla y León) and other organizations with international experience to find and select host enterprises, partner VET centres in relevant cities and supportive contacts (accommodation, support, travel, cultural activities, etc.) for the participants. The main goal is to develop mobility projects for reasons of education in Erasmus+ programs for trainees, teachers and staff of VET institutions which are members of the Consortium at the higher education level. As a result, the Consortium aim to increase the number of mobilities in Castilla y Leon. Our proceedings present a mobility potential of participants of more than 20.000 trainees and teachers and staff in the VET institutions. In order to develop our Projects, we set out a series of objectives that are common to the vast majority of projects and which are based on the foundations of the ECHE Charter and the Consortium Accreditation Project. They are the following: - To support the acquisition of learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences) of the students of the member centres for the improvement of their personal, professional, social and employability development through FCT Traineeships in companies in other countries. - To support the professional development of teachers and staff in member institutions to improve the quality of teaching in higher education training cycles. - To improve the foreign language skills of the participants and to enhance their foreign language learning. - To motivate participants to benefit from the experience through knowledge and understanding of other cultures, providing them with tools to develop an awareness of European citizenship and identity. - To improve and increase the capacities, attractiveness, and international dimension of all the member entities of the Consortium through the presentation, development and implementation of international mobility projects. - To strengthen the relationships between vocational training, employment, institutions, business organisations and companies, generating models of synergies that allow for the expansion and improvement of these relationships. - To develop the methodology and protocol designed by the Consortium through the Working Protocol. - To effectively and adequately disseminate the actions developed among the members, entities, associations and institutions related to vocational training, employment and employability, through the most appropriate channels. - To lay the foundations to progressively increase the number of mobilities carried out in subsequent calls. All the actions carried out in this Project have been developed on the basis of the fulfilment of these objectives.
