Objectives

What IES Andrés de Vandelvira aimed to achieve with the implementation of this project in relation to students of higher-level vocational training cycles was, first and foremost, to provide a unique opportunity for students to develop key competencies in an international work environment. Vocational training aims to equip students to successfully enter the labor market, and this type of experience allows them to acquire practical skills in a real-world context, facing the challenges of a multicultural and dynamic environment. Through these mobilities, one of the main goals was to improve students' employability, not only in their home country but also in the European market, giving them the opportunity to work in foreign companies. This exposure allows them to become familiar with different labor organization models, work methods, and innovative technologies that are not always available locally. Additionally, it was expected that this exchange of knowledge and practices would foster the students' adaptability and flexibility, two increasingly valued skills in a globalized world. Another important aspect was the strengthening of linguistic and intercultural communication skills. By working in an environment where the main language is not their own, students had the opportunity to significantly improve their language abilities. Beyond technical learning, this type of experience has fostered personal growth by requiring students to navigate a different cultural environment, allowing them to develop their problem-solving skills autonomously and their ability to work in teams in a diverse setting. For the educational institution, participating in international mobility projects also contributed to increasing its prestige and visibility, allowing the school to align itself with the demands of the European labor market. From a broader perspective, the project also sought to strengthen relationships between the educational institution and international companies, facilitating the exchange of best practices and encouraging future collaborations. This cooperation is key to creating synergies that allow educational curricula to be adapted to the needs of the European labor market, thus preparing students more effectively to face the challenges of their respective industries. In summary, the overall goal of the project was to provide a comprehensive educational experience that not only benefited students in terms of professional skills but also enhanced their personal growth, their ability to work in multicultural environments, and their preparation for the global labor market. Through these mobilities, it was expected that students would not only become better professionals but also more committed citizens, aware of the European reality, thus contributing to greater cohesion and competitiveness within the European Union
