Objectives

With this project, we aimed to contribute to the comprehensive development of our students by preparing them as highly qualified future professionals capable of meeting the demands of the labour market by providing them with practical experience in real work environments within the field of Information Technology. This training has not only sought to improve their technical competencies but also to promote the acquisition and enhancement of essential intercultural and linguistic skills in an increasingly globalised work environment. We have also aimed to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and innovation between the academic world and the business sector by maintaining direct contact with the companies where our students have completed their professional internships, both as part of their education and as their first approach to the labour market after graduation. This has sought to enrich our students' education as well as to strengthen the collaboration between the educational institution and the industry, fostering the alignment of our educational offer with the real needs of the labour market. One of the key objectives has been to train our teaching staff by improving their skills and competencies, sharing and adopting best practices from other European higher education institutions, also generating new collaboration opportunities and contributing to the updating of our educational approach. In line with the principles of inclusion and equity of the Erasmus+ project, we have pursued to increase the participation of students with fewer opportunities and recent graduates, ensuring that the project has an even more significant impact within our educational community. This inclusive approach is fundamental to guaranteeing that all students, regardless of their background, can benefit from the opportunities offered by the project. Additionally, we have worked to strengthen and expand our network of contacts, which allows us to achieve our internationalisation and cooperation objectives. Furthermore, the international mobility activities in this project have contributed to diversity and intercultural understanding, as well as to fostering a sense of European identity and citizenship, where our students and faculty have gained a greater awareness of the fundamental principles on which the European Union is based and the benefits of belonging to it, as promoted in the ECHE Charter. All of the above has been developed with a strong commitment to the principles of the ECHE Charter and the goals established in our center’s proposal.
