Objectives

The objective of the University of Deusto, as set out in the current Strategic Plan 23-26, is to give the whole institution a transversal international character. To achieve this, among the different actions carried out, the good management and execution of the Erasmus + Programme stands out for its contribution to the internationalisation of the entire university community, through the integral development of students and participating academic and administrative staff, and for favouring a more diverse and global environment through the incorporation of international students in our classrooms. As a university committed to internationalisation, Deusto seeks to take advantage of the opportunities offered by this programme to strengthen its international projection and improve the quality of its education. Deusto's participation in Erasmus+ is a strategic commitment that helps us to improve the positioning and visibility of our university at a European level, which can translate into greater opportunities for collaboration between institutions at an educational, research and talent attraction level. Deusto is a university that transforms and is transformed and therefore, as an agent of social transformation, understands its participation in the Erasmus + Programme as a fundamental element to achieve academic excellence, promote collaboration and the strengthening of networks that will allow us to build a better future. For all these reasons, the University of Deusto will continue to dedicate resources to develop a line of active participation in Erasmus+ projects, with the main objective of achieving a solid profile of international training and interdisciplinary character to face the challenges of an increasingly global, interdependent and intercultural world.
