The TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme Foundation is the public entity responsible for managing the TecnoCampus technological and university park. Promoted by the Mataró City Council, the foundation balances a business park with a higher education center (affiliated with Pompeu Fabra University). From its inception, TecnoCampus has regarded internationalization as one of its priorities in the strategic lines throughout the definition and implementation of various strategic plans. The institution's participation in the Erasmus+ program, specifically in the KA131 projects, is key to achieving the established objectives by promoting the following aspects: interculturality among staff and students, knowledge of other educational programs, application of different teaching methodologies, language improvement, team dynamics, and more. The internationalization of TecnoCampus does not stop here; various departments within the institution participate in collaborative research projects with international institutions, as well as combined programs, among others. Many of these projects arise from collaborations stemming from the inter-institutional relationships necessary for the KA131 projects, leading to larger-scale initiatives.
