The IES Santa Lucía del Trampal considers that vocational training must be eminently practical, specialized, adapted to new changes and advances, and above all, closely linked to the business world, always taking into account the social reality, we are moving forward with the new dual vocational training. We believe that our teaching work cannot be left out of the internationalisation process, when we consider that it is the best way for our students to obtain competitive skills to live, work and interact at a European level, acquired with their experience of mobility from the host country through their culture, their way of life, their customs, their educational system. The proposal developed has been aimed at students of the higher level training cycle of social integration, a cycle that belongs to the professional family of community services, these are technicians who will have an important role in our society, as at the European level, they are trained to program, organize, implement and evaluate social integration interventions applying specific strategies and techniques, promoting equal opportunities, acting at all times with an attitude of respect towards the recipients and guaranteeing the creation of safe environments for both the recipients and the professional. The students who have carried out the mobilities have had the opportunity to get to know another European country, its cities, people, customs and forms of organization; Communicate in other languages, mainly by improving their linguistic skills, developing their professional, social and personal competence, acquiring an identity and maturity that today will facilitate their employment possibilities and future job placement. The execution of all the mobilities granted is considered a priority, being able to develop all with the extension of the project to 26 months. The biggest obstacle we encounter when it comes to the development of mobility is the small scholarship that the participants receive, our students have a profile of families of lower middle social class and being in another country during the mobility becomes expensive. Although we encounter these obstacles, the motivation for our internationalization project is firm, and we continue to offer students this type of experiences that promote a diverse cultural experience, allow them to improve or learn new languages by finding themselves in a new cultural and linguistic environment, their personal growth by improving adaptability, confidence and intercultural and professional skills. their skills are strengthened. At the institutional level, the implementation of this project facilitates the creation of contact networks with organisations and encourages the transmission of good practices of host companies.
