By implementing the Erasmus+ project, Altaviana sought to offer its students in the higher cycle of hospitality and sociocultural services practical training opportunities in an international context. The main objective was to enrich the students' training through professional internships in European countries such as Austria, Germany, Denmark, France, Holland and Italy. These experiences were intended not only to help them develop technical skills specific to their field, but also to foster their adaptability, cultural openness and intercultural competences, essential aspects in an increasingly globalised labour market. In addition, the project was aligned with Altaviana's mission to promote the mobility of students, mostly female, and break down barriers in professional sectors that have historically been dominated by men. The Erasmus+ programme also facilitated the creation of international professional contacts, which expanded the students' job opportunities and contributed to their personal and professional development. In short, the project aimed to strengthen the academic and professional training of students, improving their employability and preparing them to face the challenges of a diverse and changing working world.
