This Erasmus+ KA171 mobility project with universities in El Salvador is part of the University of La Rioja's Development Cooperation initiatives. Since 2018, the University of La Rioja and the Central American University “José Simeón Cañas” have collaborated on strategic development cooperation projects that have impacted adolescents and professionals in the social and health sectors in El Salvador. The mobility activities carried out within the KA107 and KA171 project frameworks over the years have undoubtedly contributed to this success. This project aims to build on the existing lines of action of both universities and, in turn, expand the range of disciplines in which they collaborate, offering academic staff from other areas the opportunity to establish new avenues of cooperation between the two institutions. To this end, two incoming and two outgoing staff mobilities have been carried out. Two of these mobilities, one incoming and one outgoing, aimed to work on ongoing projects related to the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, while the other two, one incoming and one outgoing, focused on engineering collaborations.
