UPV/EHU, with over 30 years of experience in international mobility and Erasmus+ ICM participation since 2015, sought through this project to consolidate and expand global strategic relations with universities in Russia, North America, Asia and Latin America. It promoted student and staff mobility in key areas such as engineering, political science, sustainability, renewable energies, linguistics, AI, and Industry 4.0, fostering transformative experiences to enhance linguistic, intercultural, and scientific competences, thereby strengthening employability and leadership. A core aim was to prioritise inclusion of groups with fewer opportunities, incorporating environmental sustainability and green practices as cross-cutting dimensions. The project also aimed to reinforce institutional internationalisation, advance digitalisation, promote civic engagement and intercultural understanding, thus contributing to the 2030 Agenda, Erasmus+ priorities, and the international positioning of UPV/EHU and partner universities, while fostering internationalisation at home and impact on local and global communities.
