Objectives

The University of León carries out this project as part of its active internationalization policy and within the framework of its Erasmus Policy Statement linked to the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education. Its main objective is to promote the participation of Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral students, as well as teaching staff, researchers and administrative and service staff in international mobility programs. Through the Erasmus+ KA171 program, the ULE seeks to foster the personal and professional development of its university community, improve the quality of training and ensure equal opportunities, social inclusion and employability. International mobility is conceived as the ideal way to acquire transversal competences, language skills, intercultural understanding and the ability to adapt to diverse environments, key elements for entry into a global labor market and for the consolidation of sustainable academic and scientific links with institutions from third countries not associated to the Program. In doing so, the University of León aimed to broaden its strategic alliances and strengthen its international projection as an institution committed to global cooperation.
