The Erasmus+ KA171-072505 project, coordinated by the University of Valladolid, aimed to strengthen international cooperation and academic exchange through student and staff mobilities, both incoming and outgoing. With the participation of 73 institutions from 31 countries across 9 Erasmus+ regions, the project sought to promote global engagement, intercultural dialogue, and the inclusion of vulnerable groups, in line with Erasmus+ objectives and ECHE commitments. Key goals included increasing the international capacity of institutions through training and International Weeks, fostering mutual understanding of higher education systems, and improving academic recognition processes. The project placed a strong emphasis on doctoral-level mobility to ensure deeper, long-term impact. It also promoted Spanish language learning through intensive courses and encouraged the creation of sustainable academic partnerships. Mobility was used as a strategic tool to enhance the international visibility of the University of Valladolid and its partner institutions.
