This project has been conceived as a key instrument within the internationalisation strategy of the University of Cantabria (UC). From a geostrategic standpoint, it has sought to initiate, expand, and diversify activities in new geographical areas, while consolidating cooperation and mobility initiatives in specific disciplines and using their results to foster new training and research projects. It was also designed to generate a significant impact on the mobility experience, both in the personal and academic development of participants and in the management processes and mutual understanding between UC and its partner institutions. At the local and regional levels, the project has aimed to strengthen collaboration with institutions, organisations, and students from other educational stages, as well as with society at large, thereby enhancing the dissemination and visibility of both the Erasmus+ programme and UC. Finally, it sought to contribute to the internationalization of the campus, reinforcing its multicultural and diverse character and with an inclusive approach, to facilitate the acquisition of multicultural and global skills by students and staff who do not directly benefit from physical mobility.
