After more than 10 and 5 years of experience managing the Erasmus KA131 and KA171 projects, respectively, at UCV we have sought to consolidate our participation by strengthening ties with universities in countries outside the EU and by providing opportunities for both students and staff to discover different educational systems and broaden their horizons, as well as to contribute, as far as possible, to improving and modernizing institutions beyond Europe. In our Internationalization Plan, our goal was to reinforce the institutional relationships initiated with institutions in regions such as the Balkans and Ukraine, where our collaboration was still incipient, as well as to further advance cooperation with Latin America. We are therefore pleased that UCV’s participation in the Erasmus+ KA171 Programme has represented another step forward in the internationalization of the institution and the university community. We have succeeded not only in offering more mobility destinations but also in multiplying collaborations with institutions, allowing us to strengthen ties while also opening the door to cooperation in other areas such as research or the preparation of additional European projects.
