The project, aligned with UPF's 2021-25 Internationalization Plan, sought to establish international partnerships to promote teaching and research, improving mutual global positioning. It was structured around four areas with specific objectives: In the Mediterranean, promoting the international mobility of graduates, internationalizing the teaching staff, and attracting talent in Migration, International Relations, and Youth/Social Dialogue, in line with the institutional goal of Planetary Wellbeing In Asia, to prioritize selective mobility and collaborate with emerging countries such as the Philippines and Pakistan, with limited projects for greater impact In the Pacific, Australia, to satisfy the growing interest of the UPF university community in stays outside Europe with a dynamic and prestigious university system In Latin America, strengthen existing cooperation and networks, leveraging UPF's social responsibility and scholarship policy. More strategic cooperation was sought, taking advantage of links with doctoral students in the region The project was, therefore, focused on strengthening internationalization through mobility by adapting to the particularities and opportunities of each region
