WLead has been carried out with the aim of providing women over 30 who want to give a boost to their professional career with support, specifically adapted to their needs, to help them overcome the barriers and obstacles they face and to give that step forward in their career. To this end, the project has focused on helping to develop competences and skills through the activities and tools that we have considered most appropriate for this purpose and target audience: mentoring, networking and training resources focused on specific skills.
The WLead project aims to promote the development of skills and competences (reskilling/upskilling) of women to promote them as entrepreneurs and/or managers in a process of improvement or change in their professional career (change career). The proposal was born out of the need to promote business and entrepreneurial values among women over 30 years of age and provide them with support to launch business ideas. The project has been aimed at women over 30 years of age, both residents of Spain, Belgium and Luxembourg. Each of these groups has specific characteristics and needs, but they share many of them, highlighting the desire to progress in their careers, both at the managerial level and at the entrepreneurial level. The profile is professionals who want to give a boost to their professional career that will make them develop and improve their skills (soft skills) and their entrepreneurial abilities.
