The main objectives were: - Develop a training itinerary or upskilling pathway in the digital field, with the corresponding contents and development, implementation & control protocols. - Facilitate access and increase take-up to online and digital training for people with difficulties due to financial problems or lack of previous digital knowledge. - Facilitate access to training in digital relationships with the Administration so that they can request grants to improve their situation of social inclusion. - Facilitate knowledge in the eco-efficient use of tools in the digital environment and improve the disposition towards active citizenship and the European dimension. - Test the training itinerary in the different countries and analyze its efficiency to develop a catalog of good practices and Best Available Techniques with potential for transferability. - Ensure equal opportunities, inclusion, environment & quality of training in the itinerary protocols. - Create a transnational network-observatory for dissemination & GP exchange The objective of the project was the development of an easy and inclusive training itinerary that allows adults to overcome digital deficiencies and motivates them to use digital environments.

Background

This project was proposed to promote accessibility to digitalization to improve the situation and equality of adults with Digital Gap problems. Based on the experience of the entities participating in the project in dealing with these target groups (adults with inclusion difficulties due to their unemployment situation, economic problems, age and lack of knowledge of digital environments, especially women over 40), especially when offering training it could be observed that these people reject the training offered because they were not able to assimilate the knowledge provided. On the other hand, people with economic and inclusion difficulties usually have access to social grants, which are processed through the Administration, but most cases these procedures require access to a digital identity. Lacking the knowledge to process a digital identity or access the information and request for such grants or other procedures supposes a real delay or even paralysis of the ability to improve their inclusion in society and even their life prospects. The reason for the project is that people in a special situation of vulnerability are left unable to advance due to a lack of training in digital environments that would improve their lives.
