By implementing this project, we aimed to foster a more inclusive, engaging, and technologically advanced educational environment. Our primary goals were to combat discrimination, promote European values, and improve students' enthusiasm for learning, ultimately enhancing their academic performance and personal development. We sought to strengthen students’ digital literacy, analytical thinking, and intercultural communication skills through the integration of technology education lessons. Through the LTTAs and activities such as workshops on tolerance and cultural and religious visits, we wanted students to gain empathy, mutual respect, and a deeper understanding of diversity. The project also aimed to empower teachers by providing innovative tools and methods to create engaging, impactful lessons. By developing an e-book, hosting workshops, and exchanging best practices, we intended to leave a lasting impact on both teachers and students. Ultimately, the project aimed to nurture a generation that embraces diversity, collaborates effectively, and embodies the values of tolerance and cooperation. We also aimed for the relationships that were fostered during the project into extent into the future.
We applied for this project to address the growing need for effective use of technology in education while fostering social inclusion and combating discrimination in schools. European schools face challenges in engaging students, promoting intercultural understanding, and tackling prejudice. Through this project, we aimed to create an environment where students and teachers collaborate, explore European values, and embrace diversity. By incorporating Google tools and apps in English lessons, we wanted to make learning more engaging, enhance creativity, and encourage self-expression, steering students away from negative behaviours. The project also supported teachers by providing opportunities to exchange best practices and incorporate modern teaching methods using digital resources. The LTTAs focused on vital themes such as discrimination and religious tolerance, promoting intercultural communication skills and peer learning. Our ultimate goal was to inspire students and educators to create inclusive, tolerant, and technologically empowered learning environments.
