Objectives

By executing the project we wanted mainly to create an ecological conscience among our educational communities, by showing our students that our Planet Earth is in danger and we had to act as soon as possible if we wanted to change this. We designed interdisciplinary activities together to show our students about this issue and the importance of preserving the resources we still have. on Earth. Being able to use Etwinning as a contact tool as well as the different ITCs ( emails, powerpoints , zoom conferences, were also the targets to implement our project. Practising the vehicular language of the project, (English), was last but not least something very important for the teachers who wrote the project- Being able to give the chance to teachers and diverse students to know different places, cultures, peoples and different ways of teaching was also on our minds. As excellence or bilingual centres that we were it was also very important for us to give a more European dimension to our centres, which greatly want to be referent centres in their different areas or countries. Having the chance to show new centres, like the Turkish one, the opportunity Erasmus offered, also encouraged us to start a new Erasmus adventure in 2022

Background

Through the Etwinning Platform four friend countries ,Turkey, Bulgaria, Romanía and Spain, being aware all of them of giving the best education to their students, and creating a great atmosphere of good practices, we worked together to apply for the project KA210-SCH Small_Scale partnershipin School Education in the first round 2022. The main issue of the project was increasing awarereness among the centres of the necessity of improving global consciousness to preserve the Planet and create a sustainable future for the next generations. We also wanted to give our community school the chance to their students of knowing other methods of teaching, other cultures and people , as well as offering the m the possibility of practising the vehicular language of the topic, which is English. On the other hand, the new generations need to be updated in ITCs and we designed STEAM activities where students would use an interdeisciplinary approach relating Science, MathsTechnology, Literacy and Art. We wanted to give a European dimmension to our centres, which were either bilingual or an example of excellence in the different countries. Inclusiveness has been present all the time and we have tried to give this oportunity to weaker ones
