We wanted to achieve the following goals by implementing our project: 1- Improving teachers' digital skills 2- Increasing teachers' knowledge and experience on new educational approaches such as digital learning and digital teaching 3- Ensuring that teachers learn some Web2 tools that they can use in their lessons Some of those: Evaluation (Kahoot, Quizizz) Animation (Powtoon etc.) Video conferencing (Zoom etc.) Foreign Language Learning (Flocabulary etc.) Survey Preparation (Kahoot etc.) Barcode (QR Scanner) Logging (Padlet) Map (Crowdmap etc.) Cartoon (StoryJumper etc.) Virtual Certificate (Certificate Magic etc.) Classroom management (Google Classroom etc), Presentation (Powtoon etc.) Team creation (Team Creation) Calendar (Timetoast etc) Remote management (Google hangout etc.) Online exam for the participant group (Exam Reader etc) 4- Enabling teachers to integrate web2 tools into their course curricula 5- Enabling teachers to teach Web2 tools to their students 6- Ensuring more active and willing participation of students learning Web2 tools in the distance education process 7- Ensuring the sharing of experience and good practices among participating countries 8- To ensure the development of teachers' language skills
As teachers and students, we were caught unprepared for the Covid-19 pandemic and suddenly found ourselves in the digital world. We could not plan the distance education process very effectively. Because in order to successfully manage the distance education process, digital skills had to be developed at that rate. When we look at the needs analyzes made in our schools during the pandemic period, the biggest need was that our teachers did not have enough digital equipment. The needs analysis showed us that: During the distance education process, our teachers cannot teach effectively, the number of students participating in distance education is low,teachers know very little about web2 tools, they cannot integrate web2 tools into their lessons,and their digital skills are insufficient. We applied for this project to improve the digital skills our teachers need during this pandemic period and to keep the relationship between teacher and student at the highest level.By carrying out our project successfully,we met our above-mentioned needs and achieved our goals.
