In this project, our goal was to inspire everyone to love and appreciate nature from the bottom of their hearts. We believe that by doing so, we can make a significant impact on the world in a short amount of time. Within our project, we collaborated with local partners and communities to raise awareness and called for solidarity and compassion to address the world's growing climate and ecological crises. Our focus is on securing a livable world for the present and future generations. This youth-led initiative aims to tackle environmental issues through education, tree planting for impact, advocacy, and activism. We are dedicated to empowering communities, especially children and young people, to find solutions to the climate and ecological crisis. Our objective is to amplify the voices of young people to pave the way for an international movement of school-aged kids who demand greater action from local governments to combat climate change. We envision young people across Europe coming together to raise awareness and take action on a larger scale.
The project was developed in response to the changing climate and the lack of sensitivity to the environment around us. Through the implementation of this project we met such needs as: -we increased the sensitivity and awareness of students, teachers and parents, as well as the local community, to environmental issues through art -we succeeded in addressing the issue of the role of art in promoting sustainable development at the international, national and local levels -promote the Sustainable Development Goals -sensitize students to think more creatively about divergent views on sustainability -allowed students to experience the more creative, diverse, and positive change they want to bring to this world - students became more aware of the cause and effect of environmental problems -determine practical solutions to some of the environmental problems affecting EU countries -disseminate information and raise awareness of the importance of a green lifestyle - develop digital competencies, - improve cross-curricular skills such as research, teamwork, critical thinking, creativity, problem solving Results: - art exhibition on sustainable development - 4 documentary presentations on the environment -ETwinning project -4online meeting
