Objectives

In implementing the project, a number of specific objectives were expected to be achieved, addressing identified needs and responding to challenges in the field of vocational training and the transition of young people to the labour market. Development of career guidance programmes adapted to the educational context to support young people in their transition to the world of work. Improving the quality and relevance of career guidance and counselling services through the active involvement of vocational education and training professionals. Work to increase the social inclusion of young vocational students, ensuring equal access to educational and employment opportunities regardless of their personal or socio-economic situation. In summary, the project aims to strengthen vocational guidance and counselling services, promoting social inclusion and supporting the academic and employment success of young vocational students.

Background

The transnational project addresses the changing demands of the labour market in Europe, drawing on the diverse experience of the partners to offer added value to European collaboration. Today's world of work and society requires technical and interpersonal skills to adapt to changing environments. European vocational training aims to support national and EU priorities. The survey conducted during the preparation of the project revealed diverse guidance strategies in different parts of Europe, but with similar expected outcomes: facilitating the transition of young people from school to the labour market and reducing youth unemployment. The formation of a transnational partnership aims to improve opportunities for adult learners and combat youth unemployment in different European regions through collaboration between educational institutions and administrative/economic entities. Identifying specific areas of work that could lead to practical solutions was another key decision taken in the project planning process, with the aim of effectively addressing the identified needs and challenges.
