Opening the school to the community, creating a lasting impact, providing new enriching experiences for students... All this in collaboration with a local association, Biciclistas de Corella, a secondary school in Navarre (IES Tierra Estella), three other secondary schools in Poland, Ireland and Portugal, and the Irish Cycling Campaign, the platform for associations that promote cycling in Ireland.
We applied for the project to improve student relations, their opportunities for development at all levels, and collaboration with local organisations. We wanted to work on what later became the four work packages: social inclusion, intergenerational relations, climate action, and sustainable mobility.
