With the implementation of Addict to you, we wanted to achieve a series of objectives born after a thorough analysis of the needs detected. In this way, we have worked to achieve the following goals: - To create innovative practices in school contexts through the development of a working methodology based on non-formal education and the development of inclusive activities to identify, strengthen and evaluate significant competences for the personal and social development of students and thus prevent the main non-substance addictions. - To decrease the negative effects of non-substance addictions in school contexts, especially for adolescents with fewer opportunities. - To increase the transferability of innovative and non-formal methodologies by developing interactive digital training. - To assist the organisational development of 6 institutions with different cultural and organisational experiences and to strengthen the partnership for cooperation between them by developing and disseminating the results of the project and innovative working methodologies created in the field of school and non-formal education.
The consortium decided on this project after sharing a series of concerns and detecting needs that were present in our contexts on a daily basis: the excessive use of technologies, screens, etc., and their consequences in the form of behavioural / non-substance addictions. Direct consequences in adolescents (especially in vulnerable groups), in school contexts. Thanks to this project, we have been able to address the needs detected by generating resources that help to alleviate the negative effect of the misuse or excessive use of technologies that lead to behavioural addictions. A significant number of adolescents from various countries who have been, are and will be the project's ambassadors, have been empowered with learning and tools that they can share with their peers. In addition, resources and materials have been developed for education professionals so that they can be implemented in different contexts and work on the prevention of these addictions. An innovative project that has served to share knowledge and experiences and to weave networks among a transnational consortium that has seen how they have been improving their practices, experiencing a positive experience for their day-to-day work.
