In our application, we define the aim as follows: Aim: To provide VET teachers with upgraded resources to tackle horizontal and transversal competences in eco-design for industrial processes at VET training centres both inside the partnership (FEI, MODATEX, ABANA, CONFORM) and outside the partnership at other VET centres. And to achieve this main goal, we defined specifically the following objectives: O1: To develop an Open Educational Resource (OER). O2: To involve in the different phases of development of the OER key stakeholders. O3: To promote the developed resources to get their sustainability beyond the extension of the project. These above are the objectives we have achieved with the implementation of our project.
Our motivation to present this proposal relied on the relevance of creating digital learning resources bringing closer the evolving reality of industrial processes in the field of fashion and textiles to VET centres. The involvement in the project conception of partners from four different countries in which the fashion and textile sector is determinant for the economy and for the employment provided a strong background for this proposal. The main specific need we have faced focused on VET teachers, who lacked upgraded resources to tackle horizontal and transversal competences in eco-design for industrial processes at VET centres. This need was detected by VET centres both inside the partnership (FEI, MODATEX, ABANA, CONFORM) and outside the partnership at other VET centres working in close cooperation with the sectorial partners (ASECOM, FEDECON, AMSE, ATP, ATOK). We considered as main strengths when we decided to apply, among other: 1.- The correspondence of the project to key priorities of this action 2.- The successful long-term cooperation between most of the partners in this proposal 3.- The relevance of the topic addressed for the textile and fashion sector 4.- The relevance of the developed resource for VET curriculum
