Objectives

The project had two activities. One was "Tools for European Programs", which had the main objective of bringing together experienced youth workers from different European countries to share management, logistics and implementation tools used in their daily work. The purpose was to promote the exchange of knowledge and good practices in the field of European projects and youth. Through interaction and collaboration activities, the aim was to identify differences in project management and develop standardized methods. Furthermore, the project aimed to improve understanding of the entire process of a project, from its conception to the presentation of the final report. During the course of the week, interactive and training sessions were held, in which participants shared and learned about various tools and approaches used in their daily work. These sessions promoted reflection and sharing of solutions to common challenges. In addition, ideas were generated for future collaborative projects that would be presented in subsequent calls. With the implementation of this project, we sought to achieve several key objectives: - Share the tools used in our daily work that we considered useful for other organizations participating in the project. - Bring together workers from different European countries to create an organized work methodology that we could share at the European level. - Share good practices in the field of European projects and promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences. The specific objectives of the project were the following: - Share management, logistics and implementation tools used in working with young people and in European projects. - Identify differences in project management among youth workers and develop standardized and easy-to-implement methods. - Explore and learn about the complete process of a project, from the initial idea to the presentation of the final report. - Facilitate tool sharing sessions, where participants could present and learn about various tools and methods used in their work. - Encourage collaboration and teamwork by generating ideas for future projects that would be presented in the October 2023 call. - Evaluate whether the objectives were achieved and collect feedback from participants to improve future editions of the project. On the other hand, we had the "Second Chances" activity, which combined the format of a seminar with a partnership-building activity. It aimed to increase skills in working with young people in prison and in developing new projects in cooperation with other organisations. As specific objectives, we propose: - Know the realities of various countries about how the penitentiary institution is trying to improve youth work and volunteering. - Exchange good practices on youth work and volunteering in prison. - Train peer-to-peer in various aspects that can be useful to improve youth work and volunteering in prison. - Create networks and plan future projects and cooperation.
